Setmate Launch Event:

Celebrating the Start of

a New Creative Community

In November, we hosted our first Setmate Launch Event and celebrated the beginning of a new chapter for creatives working behind the scenes.

The event marked the official introduction of Setmate as a community platform for freelancers, creative studios, agencies and services in the creative and media industry. Setmate was created to make collaboration more visible, more human and more connected — both online and offline.

A Space for Real Connections

The launch event brought together creatives from different disciplines to meet, exchange ideas and connect beyond social media. Instead of fast-paced networking, the focus was on meaningful conversations, shared experiences and genuine interest in each other’s work.

The atmosphere reflected what Setmate stands for: clarity over noise, connection over competition and community over visibility metrics.

Supporting Creative Collaboration

Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to learn more about Setmate’s vision and features, including discovering talent, sharing finished work, posting projects, exploring industry events and building long-term professional connections.

The event was not about presenting a finished product, but about opening a dialogue. Feedback, ideas and conversations from the community played an important role and continue to shape how Setmate evolves.

Looking Ahead

The Setmate Launch Event was only the beginning. Since then, we have continued to grow the platform together with our community, guided by the voices and needs of the people who use it.

Setmate officially launched online on December 6 and we are excited to keep sharing updates, features and community stories in the months ahead.

We believe good work happens when the right people find each other.
The launch event was our first step towards building exactly that.
